How do I choose the right floor spring for a glass door?
Choose a floor spring according to the door width, door weight, opening angle and traffic frequency. For heavy commercial glass doors or high-frequency entrances, a higher-capacity hydraulic floor spring is recommended. What hardware is required for a frameless glass door?
A typical frameless glass door system may use a floor spring, patch fittings, top and bottom pivots, glass door handles, locks and glass connectors. The exact configuration depends on whether the door is single or double, swing or fixed-panel construction, and the glass thickness.
What is the difference between a door closer and a floor spring?
A door closer is normally mounted at the top of a hinged door, while a floor spring is concealed in the floor beneath the door pivot. Floor springs are widely used for frameless glass and commercial entrance doors where a clean appearance and double-action opening may be required.
How do I select a magnetic lock for an access control door?
